Warehouse Load & Unload Lead
The Warehouse Load & Unload Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods within a retail warehouse environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading processes, coordinating team activities, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. The lead ensures that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed according to company policies and safety regulations, minimizing damage and loss. By managing workflow and providing guidance to warehouse staff, the lead helps optimize operational productivity and supports overall supply chain effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading activities.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification preferred).
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift operator certification.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
Previous experience in retail trade warehouse operations.
Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards.
Demonstrated skills in team leadership and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily loading and unloading activities to ensure timely processing of shipments.
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse team members to maintain high performance and adherence to safety standards.
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with warehouse management and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and report any discrepancies or concerns promptly.
Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained properly, reporting any malfunctions or hazards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
Assist in scheduling shifts and managing labor resources to meet fluctuating workload demands.
