Job Description

The Estimator III is responsible for preparing quotes for mostly non‑standard & custom products as directed by the Estimating Manager. They are responsible for reviewing quote requests and communicating with sales team and/or the customer directly to accurately understand the quote requirements and prepare pricing.

Primary Responsibilities

Read & analyze requests for quotes, drawings, pictures, emails, etc. to create price quotes.

Prepare quotes accurately and in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding department performance standards.

Send completed quotes to customers and/or sales team, when required.

Communicate directly with customers to obtain information required to prepare quotes.

Provide technical and/or pricing support to lower-level estimators, sales and customers as needed.

Qualifications

BS Degree or Equivalent experience and training.

Minimum of 5 years estimating and construction knowledge, metal fabrication and manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of estimating practices and software, Bluebeam software preferred.

Physical Requirements

Typical office environment with periods of time spent on the manufacturing floor.

Occasional lifting no greater than 20 lbs.

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
