If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment and understand that inventory accuracy fuels operational success, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact.The Role & Your ImpactAs a Material Handler, you are the critical link between the stockroom and the manufacturing floor. Your accuracy, urgency, and organization ensure that production teams receive the right materials at the right time—without disruption.Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will manage inventory transactions, support manufacturing schedules, and help maintain compliance with industry certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, Nadcap accreditation, and NASA standards.Your work directly supports quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.What You'll DoInventory Control & Stockroom OperationsControl physical and electronic inventory transactions within the stockroom.Electronically receive and physically stock incoming materials, including purchased components and production subassemblies.Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory.Maintain accurate stockroom inventory records and transactional history.Issue materials to manufacturing areas quickly and accurately.Systems & DocumentationInput all material movement transactions using the appropriate ERP software module.Notify Planner, Supervisor, or Buyer immediately of discrepancies, shortages, or material concerns.Follow all work instructions and documented processes to ensure compliance.Support analytical reviews to determine root causes and corrective actions for inventory errors.Cross-Functional SupportCross-train and assist in shipping and receiving functions as workload demands.Assist in training and onboarding new employees as needed.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in inventory control and stockroom proceduresAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, reaching, and climbing laddersAbility to work with export-controlled materials in compliance with regulationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems and electronic inventory transactionsWorking knowledge of electronic scalesFamiliarity with ISO or regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong analytical skills to help identify and correct inventory discrepanciesContinuous improvement mindsetReady to make an impact?
