The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.
Vendor, guest, and contractor check in/check out
Receiving, handling, and dispatching of mail, packages and deliveries
Regular monitoring and walking of hotel premises.
Maintain outstanding customer service in all interactions with guests and colleagues
Adhere to safety and security protocols for the hotel
Maintaining the operational performance of in-room safes and door locks
Report building preventive maintenance projects so they may be assigned and addressed.
Assist in maintaining hotel-use keys, contractor keys, visitor badges
Respond to building life safety systems (fire control panel, elevator operations, hotel intercom system)

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Proficient in basic computer skills
Previous security experience preferred
Level 2 Security Guard Card Preferred
Previous experience with using building life safety systems (fire control panel, elevator operations, hotel intercom system) is preferred
