As a Security Officer Part Time Overnight in Fort Lauderdale, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of shipping, receiving, loading dock, sorting, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policy, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.

Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Have at least two years of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
