Job Description:

The RN will be responsible for providing care to telemetry patients and must be able to titrate cardiac drips. Floating between Tele and MedSurg units, potentially including ICU, Cardiac Tele, and other holding areas. Ability to interpret EKGs is required.

Responsibilities:

Care for patients in telemetry and potentially float to other units as needed.

Administer and titrate medications as necessary, including cardiac drips.

Interpret EKGs accurately and provide appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

Current ACLS, BLS Certification, and NIHSS.

Passing a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing.

Pass/Fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation.
