Do you have a passion for music, a love for teaching, and a knack for bringing out the best in every voice? Castro Valley School of Music is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Vocal Instructor to join our dynamic team of professional musicians and educators.
A thriving, supportive music school environment A steady stream of eager, committed students (both private and group) Flexible scheduling with a consistent flow of weekly lessons A friendly, community-focused culture that values each teacher’s individual style On-site pianos, full AV setup, and dedicated lesson rooms
What We’re Looking For: A strong foundation in vocal technique across styles (pop, musical theatre, classical, or jazz) Experience teaching both one-on-one and group classes Energetic, positive, and engaging presence with students of all ages Ability to customize lessons based on students' interests and goals Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative spirit
Bonus Points If You: Can play piano to accompany students Have performance experience or a degree in music Can teach basic vocal harmony or run vocal ensembles
