FTE: 90% WORK SHIFT Night PAY RANGE: $40.37 - $72.25 UNION: SEIU 1199-RN and LPN SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: Retention Incentive: $15,000 Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Yes On Call Shifts: No Shift Differentials: Evening - $3.00/hour Night - $5.00/hour Weekend - $4.50/hour Premiums: Standby - $4.00/hour Charge - $3.25/hour Float - $2.50/hour Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits) Certification - $2.00/hour Preceptor - $2.00/hour San Exam - $500.00 JOB DESCRIPTION: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of Intensive Care Unit/Telemetry patients. Promotes continuity of care for patients on the unit, providing direct patient care as well as supervising the care given by Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Aides and other support staff. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Demonstrates the values contained in the OMC and Nursing Department mission and philosophy statements. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing and OMC. EDUCATION Graduate from accredited school of nursing. EXPERIENCE Two years in a hospital setting preferred.
