Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility in the state of Georgia
Experience working in elementary school settings, ideally with 4th-grade students
Strong knowledge and passion for ELA and Math instruction at the elementary level
Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers in a co-teaching model
Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for students with diverse needs
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in ELA and Math to 4th-grade students
Work jointly with a co-teacher to plan and adapt lessons, ensuring all students are supported
Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), monitor goals, and maintain compliant documentation
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage growth and achievement
Adapt strategies and materials to maximize student participation and learning outcomes
