Temporary Warehouse Order Puller

Job Summary
The role involves processing orders and moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This position requires physical activity, including manual lifting, carrying, and arranging boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. Employees must be capable of lifting and carrying boxes weighing between 10-100 lbs regularly, without assistance. The ability to load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces is essential.
Responsibilities

Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
Work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including navigating inclines, stairs, and varying walking surfaces.
Read and write in English.
Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
Operate handheld scanners.
Climb and balance on ladders.
Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods.
Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
Qualifications

~ Protective footwear is required, meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards for safety toe cap footwear, with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best."

Work Schedule
Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

This position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent.
