Radiation Therapist - Schaumburg Full Time - 40 hours per week. Location: Schaumburg Hours: Monday through Friday various hours 6:30am - 4:00pm Some travel to Lisle on occasion Sign-On Bonus - $10,000

Takes steps and follows procedures to secure and safeguard patient and confidential information.
Assesses patient's condition, age, size and other medical conditions to best determine if treatment can be performed within the prescribed plan.
Review radiation oncologist's prescribed dose prior to the administration of radiation; recognizes significant complications, notes, problems, complaints or occurrences; notifies physician as needed.
Operates specialized radiation therapy equipment; Assists radiation oncologist / physicist with brachytherapy procedures.
Maintains records of treatments and doses administered according to departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited course study in Radiation Oncology Technology.
Licensure by State of Illinois - IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety.
Prefer a minimum of one year of professional radiation therapist experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $40.00-60.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
