Fast-paced manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to work on process and project engineering tasks in their high-volume, process-oriented manufacturing organization. Overseeing manufacturing processes and making improvements
Troubleshooting equipment and processes in an assigned manufacturing area
Overseeing timelines and budgets for up to four projects at a time related to continuous improvement, capital, facilities, etc.
Monitoring production metrics and KPIs
Working closely with hourly and salary staff to achieve production and engineering goals
Completing mechanical troubleshooting
Designing fixtures, gauges and equipment specifications in 2D and 3D software
Conducting project proposals and completing cost justifications
Participating in and leading Kaizen events throughout the plant
Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to take ownership of their own projects. Depending on projects, individuals should enjoy spending 50% or more of their time on the manufacturing floor. This is a high-profile position that will partner daily with production and quality. REQUIREMENTS for the Process Engineer:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering are highly preferred
Minimum of three years of engineering experience in a similar process-oriented manufacturing environment
Experience scheduling and performing capital equipment project management
Mechanical aptitude
Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Experience with 2D and/or 3D software
PLCs, robotics and/or automation experience
Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications
