• Southland Electrical Supply, an IPS Company, is seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors, responsible for providing exceptional service and assistance. Your main duties include greeting customers and visitors, facilitating new orders and order pickups, assisting visitors with sign-in procedures, and promptly notifying the appropriate parties of visitor arrivals.

Welcome customers and visitors with professionalism and a friendly demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable.

Aid customers in placing new orders and ensure efficient order pickups, providing guidance and information as needed.

Communicate effectively with customers and visitors, actively listening to their needs and working to accommodate immediate requests and inquiries.

Handle returns by creating the necessary paperwork, issuing refunds in accordance with the original payment method, and ensuring that all returned items are correctly categorized for testing, repairs, or return to inventory.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong customer service orientation

Proficiency in basic computer applications

Be able to read, interpret, and modify documents

Ability to pass TSC Electrical Training Classes completed within one (1) year of hire date (we will provide)
