The Martial Arts Instructor position is for evenings, teaching beginners - advanced rank students. ACTIVSTARS allows our Martial Art Instructors to teach their primary style, utilizing the ACTIVSTARS curriculum guidelines. Our class locations are held year-round, and we are looking for committed and dedicated instructors for long-term positions.
Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-in, basic record-keeping, and promoting tournaments, camps, or clinics. Paid training sessions will cover our teaching guidelines, records, and onsite training with a veteran instructor. This is truly one of the most fun part-time jobs you can imagine for great pay!

We are looking for Instructors that...

Have a passion for making a difference in a child's life.
Have a certified black belt in a "traditional" based martial art.
Have a style in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, or equivalent forms-based martial arts.
Have a solid technical foundation.
Are 18 years of age or older.
Weekday Evenings are typically between 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Typically, one to two days during the week.
Teaching pay is based on student rate, averaging between $15-$30+/hr.
~ Our Instructors average $300 - $400 per month, teaching just ONE day a week!

Instructors may take on additional days based on availability.
