RN - Cardiac Telemetry - Days
Assignment Duration
This is a contract position for 18 weeks.
Schedule
3, 12-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM); every other weekend required.
Job Description
The RN will provide care in a 3W Cardiac Telemetry unit, focusing on telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac catheterization patients. The role includes remote telemetry monitoring and administering specialty drips.
Responsibilities
Monitoring cardiac telemetry patients and interpreting dysrhythmias.
Management of medications including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin.
Providing support for cardiac drips and IV management.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams for patient care.
Ensuring compliance with isolation precautions and protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State.
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry nursing.
Experience with charting systems, preferably Community Hospital.
Travel experience is required.
