MercyOne Medical Group Northeast Iowa is made up of more than 30 primary care, pediatric, internal medicine and specialty clinics located throughout Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Benton, Butler, Fayette and Tama counties.
We are looking to hire a Cook.
As a Cook at MercyOne, you will prepare high quality, safe foods for staff, visitors, patients, customers and physicians. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne.
Prepares food according to guidelines.
Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Operates, cleans and sanitizes equipment.
Supplies high quality and attractive food
Assists supervisor in ordering JIT foods/supplies.
Varied, weekend and holiday requirements.

Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties
Minimum of 1 year food service experience or a combination of formal education and experience beyond high school.
Intermediate language, intermediate math, intermediate reasoning ability.
High School diploma preferred but not required.
