Our network of 450 venues worldwide, hosting 20,000 events and entertaining 165 million guests each year, is powered by our depth of expertise and level of execution across every component — feasibility & consulting, owner’s representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and content & booking — of world-class live events and venues.We are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can be authentic, make an impact, and grow their career.The Role:**The Utility Cleaner, under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Manager and Leads, is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of the convention center's public areas, meeting rooms, exhibit halls, service corridors, restrooms, and other facility spaces, helping to create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, clients, exhibitors, and staff.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Clean windows (interior and exterior) and perform exterior facility cleaning as assigned.* Perform janitorial cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, exhibit halls, service hallways, restrooms, storage areas, and other public and non-public spaces.* Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, carpet care, stain removal, window cleaning, floor stripping, waxing, and trash removal.* Assist with event setup, breakdown, room resets, and post-event cleaning.* Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and other facility areas as needed.* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.* Identify and report safety hazards, facility damage, and maintenance concerns to management.* Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions in accordance with company policies and safety standards.* Follow all Legends Global policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.* Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Education and/or Experience*** High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.* Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.**Skills and Abilities*** Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.* Ability to operate small and medium-sized powered cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, blowers, and window-cleaning tools.* Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as business needs require.**WORKING CONDITIONS****Location:** On Site, Broward County Convention Center**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
