NOW HIRING: CNC Quality Inspector
Perform basic dimensional checks & First Article Inspections (FAI) on precision parts using hand tools. 2+ yrs CNC inspection exp & blueprint/GD&T reading req'd. 18 - $24 per hour
shift: First Article Inspections (FAI): Perform thorough AS9102-compliant First Article Inspections on new CNC setups to validate dimensions, geometric tolerances, and surface finishes before approving mass production.
Basic Product Inspection: Conduct receiving, in-process, and final dimensional checks on machined metal and plastic components using precision hand tools.
Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD models, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts.
Documentation & Digital Entry: Complete internal inspection logs, create FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports), and record non-conformance reports (NCRs) for non-compliant parts.
Calibration & Equipment Use: Utilize and maintain standard inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, pin gauges, and optical comparators.
Partner closely with CNC machinists, programmers, and production supervisors to troubleshoot dimensional discrepancies and process variations.
