Job Overview

Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, delivering exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate team relationships, exceed daily sales goals, and create a fun inclusive environment that keeps customers returning.

In this role you will provide personalized product recommendations, share your knowledge, and create a memorable experience for each shopper while making a positive impact on the world.

Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Experience:

Driving Sales: Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals. Take ownership of your results and actively grow your contribution to the store’s overall sales.

Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world‑class customer experience. Connect with customers, identify their needs, demonstrate product benefits, and go beyond to make customers’ days better.

Building the Brand: Educate customers on our brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging) and inspire others through community engagement.

Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge to confidently recommend products that meet customer needs.

Team Involvement:

Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge. Own your development, assess performance, and seek feedback to improve.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives, and foster a sense of belonging.

Operational Excellence:

Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present. Take breaks when needed and stay updated on company news.

Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.

Stock and Inventory: Adjust product displays in real time based on sales data.

Policies and Procedures: Follow standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.

Qualifications

Required:

Excellent customer service skills.

Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.

Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.

Strong problem‑solving skills for day‑to‑day operations.

Experience working in a team environment.

Experience in skincare or cosmetics.

Experience with cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.

Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.

Pay: $14.50 – $14.50 USD hourly.
