Head of Construction Management Operations

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Butner, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Manage shipping and production employees
Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
Coordinate with the Corporate purchasing team for material planning
Direct supervision of employees
Additional duties may be required
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is required.
Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
Experience with cycle counting is preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
Excellent communication skills
An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
