Join our team as a Children’s Unit Nurse! Our Children’s Unit provides compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients while working closely with families and the multidisciplinary care team.
Our Maternal Child division includes seven Labor and Delivery beds, a four-bed triage area, a 16-bed Mother/Baby Unit, a Children’s Unit, and a Level II Neonatal Special Care Unit (NSCU) with private and open-bay rooms. The department supports approximately 1,000 deliveries annually and includes dedicated obstetric OR suites, a 24/7 UPH OB Hospitalist program, and CRNA coverage. We offer a supportive, collaborative environment with a preceptor-led orientation for both new and experienced nurses

Assess patient and family needs, provide education, and coordinate referrals to ensure continuity of care.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practice.
Accurately and promptly document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Delegate and coordinate patient care activities while providing guidance and support to other healthcare team members.
Promote patient safety and education by utilizing age-appropriate teaching strategies, preventing errors and infections, and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.
Diploma from an RN program.

Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
