The hourly pay rate for this is $20.00 GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. This job is also eligible for hourly shift differential. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.Safely loads outbound freight; Safely stages material within designated areas.Safely operates various equipment and tools.Correctly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.Properly inspects trailers prior to loading or unloading freight.Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.Conducts oneself and operates equipment and acts in accordance with all company policies, safety rules, regulations, laws, including wearing proper personal protective equipment. Continually maintains a high standard of ethics and personal conduct consistent with the duties and responsibilities of this position. Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend training sessions to upgrade knowledge. Continually recommend measures to improve production and quality methods, equipment performance and use, safety and workplace environment. Minimum Qualifications:Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of experience in warehouse operations preferred.Knowledge of warehouse operations. Principles and practices of effective customer service. May require material handling certification.Skills and Abilities Required to Perform Job:Cognitive: Reasoning, reading, language and communication skills, both oral and written are required on the job as well as basic mathematics.Physical Demands / Work Environment: Work is performed in a warehouse and office environment. Working environments, include but are not limited to warehouse, climate controlled office and a variety of work environments and outside travel. A full range of body motion is required on the job to include frequent sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, grasping, pinching, feeling, walking, standing, climbing, driving, pushing/pulling, handling, balancing, reaching on all planes. Seeing (naturally or with correction), listening, hearing, talking, communicating, spatial, form and depth perception, color discrimination, and field vision is also needed. Performs variety of tasks involving dexterous use of legs, feet, arms, hands and fingers and tools and equipment. May be exposed to excessive temperatures, noise, dirt/dust, hazardous chemicals, traffic hazards, variable light, vibration and moving machinery or equipment.
