UI Engineer

As a member of the Product Development team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by being involved in all aspects of the development, optimization, and delivery of our product.

You will be part of a highly collaborative, agile product engineering team focused on delivering well-tested, resilient, observable services and user experiences. Successful candidates will be comfortable operating where requirements are not always fully defined, communicating clearly, coordinating with product and infrastructure partners, and helping teammates move work forward with the right balance of progress, quality, and risk management.

Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and operate modern web applications, APIs, backend services, and integrations across distributed systems.

Build intuitive, performant, accessible, and maintainable user experiences using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related frontend technologies.

Support cloud-native applications, APIs, data integrations, and related services. Work with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, observability tools, and deployment processes to deliver reliable production software.

Collaborate with product, UX, engineering, infrastructure, and management partners; communicate clearly and help move work forward through ambiguity.

Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of design decisions, testing, security, maintainability, and production readiness.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of professional software design and development experience.
• Strong frontend development experience with Angular preferred, or comparable modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Next, or Nuxt.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, responsive UI development, asynchronous programming, and reactive patterns such as RxJS or Redux.
• Experience with backend development using C# and modern .NET, preferably.NET 8 or later. Node.js, TypeScript, Scala, or functional backend experience is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, API gateways, authentication and authorization patterns, SQL and NoSQL concepts, and cloud-native services. Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and testing practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bicep, New Relic, Application Insights, Jasmine, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot, with the ability to evaluate AI-generated code critically and produce maintainable, well-tested software.
• Familiarity with LLM integration concepts, reusable AI workflows, MCP-enabled capabilities, Kafka, or event streaming is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience developing production mobile applications for iOS and Android, including requirements interpretation, application design, implementation, testing, debugging, release support, and ongoing maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate deployments, document decisions, mentor teammates, and make sound tradeoffs while operating through ambiguity.

Compensation range listed may include base salary and short and/or long-term incentives. This position is performed in a fully remote work environment. Employees in this position use a computer, phone, and other collaboration tools on an ongoing basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required for business meetings, events, or other company needs.
