Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator in support of our DHS ICE customer.
Alpha Omega is Seeking a multidiscipline IT professional with primary responsibility for Microsoft SQL administration and Windows systems administration. The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL environments while also supporting automation and systems operations through advanced PowerShell scripting.
Administer and support enterprise systems, including database platforms, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and availability.
Develop and utilize automation tools and scripts to support system management and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements.

10+ years of professional IT experience.
5+ years of experience managing, modifying, and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL environments (e.g., installs, upgrades, performance tuning, backup/restore, security).
Experience with Azure Cloud Solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure VMs, PaaS/IaaS data services).
Experience with Azure Local deployments.
Experience supporting or participating in incident response activities, including troubleshooting, containment, and recovery.

SQL certification; Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate certification preferred.

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
