Serves as the primary liaison responsible for coordination and communication activities between the design team and the client/customer and provides project management oversight and professional support throughout the entire construction process.Provides complete management of project timelines and related design activity communication between the design team and the client/customer, accurately & timelyAccurately and timely produces mechanical systems design elements consistent with project specificationsAccurately and timely produces design elements in accordance with the project hours, scope & parametersProvides research design options consistent with project requirementsProduces accurate and complete load calculations within project parametersSelects appropriate equipment for project typeCreates construction HVAC documents for permitting that are accurate and complete.Accurately and consistently execute initial QA/QC processProvide project coordination with in house and outside sourcesActively participates in post design consultation activities through construction completionFollows established work rules, policies and proceduresActively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costsCooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assignedMinimum Qualifications:4-year degree in engineering requiredMinimum 3 years' experienceKnowledge of various HVAC/plumbing/fire protection systems, equipment and conceptsKnowledge of engineering drafting standardsKnowledge and utilization of company & design standardsExpert knowledge of building codes and standardsDemonstrable understanding of construction process and interpretation of construction drawingsKnowledge of AutoCadKnowledge of RevitEIT preferredEstimated Starting Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 USDPreferred Skills:Team-oriented, professional, self-starter with a positive attitude and multi-tasking capability.It is the policy of RTM Engineering Consultants to practice a program of equal employment opportunity, and advancement opportunities are made available to all employees on the basis of individual qualifications without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, disability, age or gender.
