Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse | Prescott Valley, AZ
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in an acute multi-care unit environment. The role involves providing ICU and progressive care (PCU) nursing care, including titration of medications as clinically indicated. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days) with a minimum of 36.0 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (license required to submit); Basic Life Support (BLS) (certification required); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (certification required); minimum of 2 year(s) ICU experience

Additional Information:

Charting system: Cerner
Dysrhythmia exam requirement: Clinicians must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. If unsuccessful (scoring below 80%) in two attempts, the clinician will be discontinued for specified assignments for six months.
Care responsibilities include strong ICU and PCU skills, including titration of drips; commonly titratable or set-rate drips include sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
RNs must take 12-lead EKG
ICU patients require bedside cardiac monitoring per patient needs
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Holiday requirement: holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly
Floating requirement: float to other unit areas may be required, including EC MST and Pediatric units for adult MST coverage, and to West Campus in Prescott for ICU/PCU support; floating may require advance notice (two hours)
