Radiographer - Radiology - Part Time Evenings

We have a part time opportunity for a Radiology Technologist in our Fort Mill Orthopedic Urgent Care. Weekend and evenings, with schedule flexibility.
Essential Functions Demonstrates competency in positioning of all radiological procedures as prescribed by departmental policy.
Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients' understanding and address any questions or concerns.
Positions patients and selects exposure factors for various radiologic examinations and provides patient with radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods.
Logs radiological procedures completed, processes charges and related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.
Maintains cleanliness of examination rooms and stocks necessary medical and/or radiological supplies in the department.
Compliance with all OrthoCarolina policy and procedures.
Assists with the transportation of patients between the examination module(s) and the Radiology department.
Assists with patient flow in the examination module(s) as directed by a supervisor.
Skills and Abilities Ability to operate various manufacturer types of Radiology suite equipment (Siemens, GE, Philips).
Proficiency in using Digital Radiology (DR) and Computer Radiology (CR) reader systems.
Identifies equipment problems and corrects or notifies supervisor.
Proper positioning of patients and performing quality diagnostic radiographs.
Observation of safety and security procedures.
Qualifications Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Medical Association.
Minimum of one year experience as an X‑ray technician with an orthopedic background.
Registered Radiology Tech by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible for registration.
Current CPR certification recommended.
