Job duties:

• Grinds various sized turned bars to exacting size and surface tolerances
• Operates automatic drill press, vertical mill, overhead cranes and forklifts
• Actively supports all PTS Management System activities i.e. 5S, Failure analysis etc.
• Provides ideas and feedback that are used in areas of continual improvement of all facility activities
• Supports all job functions by being cross trained in each area
• Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements
• Exercises independent judgment as needed
• Observe and follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules, while seeking continuous improvement.
• Follow all environmental requirements and regulations, while seeking continuous improvement.
• The incumbent is responsible for his/her safety as well as his/her colleagues, seeking continuous improvement related to employee's health and safety, environment and the process efficiency and customer's satisfaction with the quality of products and services. All efforts must be directed for preventive actions.
• 5S and routine equipment care
• Any additional duties that may be assigned by management
