Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN for a night shift position requiring 3+ years of L&D, postpartum, and newborn experience in a Level III trauma facility.

Details

LDRP unit with 5 LDRP beds, 3 overflow beds, and 3 triage beds

Night shift, 7p-7a

Every third weekend required

No call requirements and no floating required

Patient population includes a variety of low to high-risk cases, including low volume SUD patients

Follows AWHONN staffing ratios

Equipment includes 1 main OR, epidural, nitrous, and Monica Novi wireless monitoring

Uses Meditech and OBIX EHR systems

Requirements

Active MI RN license required

Required certifications: NRP, BLS, EFM

Minimum 3 years of experience required

ADN required

Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum experience required

Additional Information

• 36-bed hospital serving the Western Upper Michigan Peninsula
• Verified Chest Pain Center via SCPC with Level III trauma designation
• Maternal and Neonatal Level I designation
• Scrubs may be any color except with cartoon characters, and blue jeans are not acceptable attire
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
