Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Morristown, NJ. This role involves providing expert care in a dynamic work environment, focusing on advanced cardiac imaging and pre-admission testing for surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Perform comprehensive pre-procedural assessments, including medical history and renal function review
Administer and titrate medications to achieve optimal heart rate control for image quality
Establish and maintain IV access for contrast administration using power injectors
Monitor patients continuously during CCTA procedures, identifying and responding to clinical changes
Provide patient education and ensure informed consent
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality imaging
Document care accurately in electronic medical records
Respond to emergencies, including contrast reactions and acute clinical events
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

• RN License - Required
• Active BLS/ACLS certification - Required
• 2 years critical care experience - Required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Preferred
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred
• 3-5 years cardiac telemetry or radiology imaging experience - Required
• Strong IV insertion skills and ability to access implanted chest ports
