Special Education Elementary Classroom Teacher

Elementary Intervention Tutor
Building Principal
Building Principal, Classroom Teachers, Reading Specialists, Special Education Teachers
Hourly to a maximum of 5 hours/day for up to 180 days (seasonal employment)
The Intervention Tutor is responsible for assisting students with learning of core content and skills, primarily in language arts and mathematics.
Confers regularly with the educational team (classroom teacher, reading specialists, special education teachers) to share student progress and plan for future needs
Assists the educational team in the administration of any testing and preparation of the corresponding documentation involving students in need
Education and/or Certification Required
Bachelor's Degree in Education
PA Teacher Certification
Ability to teach young children
Ability to support a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion
