Supply Chain/ Procurement/ Buyer- Urgent Need

The Buyer II performs moderately complex purchasing procedures in the acquisition of goods and services from a variety of vendors. This role serves as a liaison between the Procurement department and internal and external customers.

Correspond with vendors concerning a range of issues including price changes, contract adjustments, terminations, item values, and schedule changes. Prepare solicitation requests and develop specifications with customer input and assist in the development and review of solicitations and specifications. Conduct analysis of the quality and performance of goods, supplies, equipment, and services within assigned area; Resolve disputes between vendors and departments that may arise regarding quality of goods and/or services or timeliness of delivery. develop timelines and conduct acquisitions in compliance with procurement policy.

Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management. OR (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
