Registered Nurse RN PCU Telemetry Night Shift

Registered Nurse - Telemetry/PCU - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts, working 12 hours from 7 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend and holiday are required.
The Registered Nurse performs a variety of integrated functions, utilizing the nursing process and applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner. The nurse will float to other PCU/Med Surg floors if required.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs.
Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care based on patients' real and/or perceived needs.
Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if care goals are being met.
Consult and collaborate with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Telemetry cardiac experience is required.
Recent travel work history is highly preferred.
Active Michigan RN License (LARA and/or Nursys).
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
