Porter/Maintenance - Weekends

Assist with daily porter tasks, such as service requests and jobs at communities. Respond to maintenance related issues in a timely manner. Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, painting, and exterior building repairs. Inform Property Manager and resident if work delayed due to needed parts. High school diploma or equivalent is required. At least five years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field. General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service including plumbing, electrical, general maintenance. Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, computer, printer, copier, and etc. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others. Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required. Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends and non-traditional holidays. May be required to be on-call and aid during staffing deficiencies on-site.
