Electrician - Temporary Position

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.Department of Defense and allied nations, has an opening for an Electrician to join our Scranton, PA team. S. military branch and with allies around the world. We are looking for a motivated and creative leader to help shape and support our mission.

The Electrician works in Forge, TMP, Production and Machine Shop by installing, troubleshooting and repairing facility electrical control systems, PLC, CNC relay and computer controlled manufacturing equipment.

While installing, troubleshooting and repairing facility electrical systems, PLC, CNC relay and computer controlled manufacturing equipment, an Electrician regularly reads and comprehends electrical drawings to analyze all low, medium and high voltage systems.

Works with and follows Basic Rules of Manufacturing, GDOTS, Scranton Environmental Policy, ISO Documentation, Quality Policy and other work related policies.

At all times demonstrates common electrical safety and safety practices associated with the manufacturing environment and the use of hand or industrial equipment.

Adheres to hazardous material.

An electrical degree from a college or technical school or any combination of education, training or work related experience
