Certified Service Electrician – Pleasanton, CA & Surrounding Areas

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years’ experience in the service industry, skilled 120 to 480 volts, a current California Certified General Electrician Card REQUIRED. Please, NO Electrical Trainees.

About the Certified Service Electrician Role

This position installs and maintains wiring, control, and electrical systems.

Inspecting electrical components (transformers, circuit breakers)

Identifying electrical problems using testing devices

Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools

Certified Service Electrician Qualifications

California Certified General Electrician Card

Minimum 4 years’ experience in the service industry

Must be proficient in basic digital communication and productivity tools, including phone and email etiquette, Microsoft Teams, and fundamental Excel skills

Certified Service Electrician Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems

Interface with customers, inspectors, and scheduling department

Work on Service, Commercial, and Industrial projects (NO RESIDENTIAL)

Troubleshoot electrical system issues

Install dedicated circuits and low-voltage cabling

Certified Service Electrician Preferred Qualifications

O/S, Daylight sensors, LCPs, basic controls programming

Computer literate

Low Voltage experience

Certified Service Electrician Additional Training Offered

NFPA 70E: Electrical Safety in the Workplace

NFPA 70B: Electrical Equipment Maintenance (2026)

Boom, Scissor, Forklift Certifications
