Bookkeeper / Office Administrator
Bookkeeping experience is required for this role. Nickell Label Company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who has a proven background managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting. This position also supports general office operations, but the primary focus is maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the financial health of the business.

This is not an entry-level administrative position. We are looking for someone who can manage core bookkeeping tasks with confidence, accuracy, and minimal training.

3-5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience

Experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Experience reconciling bank accounts and credit cards

Experience processing payroll

QuickBooks or Sage 50 Online experience

Strong Excel skills

Candidates without bookkeeping experience will not be considered.

Nickell Label Company is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to become a key part of our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both accounting and office operations and takes pride in keeping things organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

As the hub of our office, you will play an important role in supporting daily business operations, managing financial records, assisting with payroll, and serving as a trusted resource for employees, vendors, and customers. What You'll Do - Primary Accounting Responsibilities (Approximately 70% of the Role)
Accounting & Bookkeeping

Record daily financial transactions, expenses, receipts, and deposits

Maintain accurate general ledger records and chart of accounts

Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments

Create customer invoices and manage accounts receivable

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Process payroll, including hours, deductions, and related records

Assist with monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements

Partner with external accountants during reporting and tax preparation

Office Administration

Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally

Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems

Coordinate office documents, records, and administrative processes

Serve as a primary contact for vendors, service providers, and accounting partners

Support day-to-day office operations to help the team stay productive and efficient

3-5 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience with QuickBooks Online/Sage50

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field

Accounting certificate or bookkeeping certification

Experience with Sage 50 accounting software
