Job SummarySummary:The Process Engineer will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL reporting to the Process Engineering Manager. The Process Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing systems per project requirements.Responsibilities:Define and implement manufacturing systems appropriate for customer applications.Support manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Scrap and Downtime.Capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.Advanced troubleshooting of complex mechanical issues with high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.Understanding the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.Support creation and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs).Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel.Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.Create work instructions and coordinate training for facilities and production personnel.Coordinate/participate in pFMEA of manufacturing processesApply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.S. in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in related field.Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience working in high-volume assembly processes.Knowledge of automated equipment systems and tools - robotics, vision, material handling/part feeding systems, conveyors, ultrasonic welding, foil sealing, HMI/PLC controls.Travel required - 5%MF15What you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition Reimbursement
