SUMMARY: The Respiratory Therapist performs independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical evaluation of care including the establishment of therapeutic objectives and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient. Must have a Respiratory Care Practitioner Permit from the Texas Medical Board.
