Production Welder- Manufacturing

Action Group, based in Columbus, Ohio, is a leading provider of steel-fabricated solutions for the data center industry. We are currently seeking a Welder to support our growing manufacturing operations. Polargy, the parent company, is a leading provider of customized structural products and solutions for interior data center construction, bringing a commitment to operational excellence, safety, and scalable growth across its portfolio.

The Welder welds various metal components together using MIG, TIG, RESISTANCE welding or brazing equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment.

or three to six months related experience and/or training; Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Welds various metal parts together using MIG, TIG, RESISTANCE welding or brazing and any combination of welding processes.

Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.

Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts. Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products per print preparatory to welding.

Studies and analyzes processes for continuous improvement and recommends potential solutions.
