Chemical Blender - Night Shift

We are seeking a Chemical Process Operator. Process Operators are the foundation for everything we do. We also manage safety inspections, preventative maintenance, and overall cleanliness of the plant. Many of the tasks are performed outdoors. You will be reporting to the shift supervisor and working closely with maintenance, shipping departments and plant manager.

Actively support the implementation and maintenance of SACHEM’s HSSEE and Quality Management Systems – SACHEM Integrated Management Systems (SIMS).

Monitor gages and recording instruments, adjust valves and controls to regulate temperatures, pressures, concentration of solutions and flow of chemicals through the process systems for prescribed reaction within critical limits.

Assist in planning and improving processes and product quality.

Work with other team members to complete the production process.

Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required, Process Operator Certification preferred.

Basic computer skills required.

Willingness to work night shift, 12-hour shift, overtime required

Understanding of chemical process preferred.

Outdoor warehouse experience

Forklift experience

Experience wearing personal protective equipment preferred

A desire to work with team members to improve processes and product quality in a physically demanding environment.

Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary.
