Material Handler - Warehousing/Production

Work Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator is responsible for the moving and storage of finished goods in warehouse

Responsibilities

Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and stacking them to assigned places

Shrink wrap finished crates and store in appropriate place in warehouse

Adheres to all work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping procedures

On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed

Perform other related duties as directed by the appropriate party, including but not limited to housekeeping and assisting other employees in the performance of their job

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 1 year experience operating a stand-up forklift

Team oriented and self-motivated

Must have flexibility of job assignments

Must be able to communicate effectively

Physical effort required, continuous mental and visual attention required

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs

Required to sit, stand, and move about the facility - ability to operate a forklift up to 95% of scheduled working hours
