FULL TIME Associate Attorney

ATTORNEY – Litigation Associate

SIDDIQUI LAW APC seeks a full-time Associate Attorney for its Orange County (Costa Mesa, CA) Office. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 1+ year experience with a background in litigation.

Required knowledge of state and federal procedures and court rules.

Summary of Responsibilities

Court appearances (trial/pre-trial hearings/law & motion)

Law & motion drafting; legal and factual research; organize and analyze case information

Research relevant judicial decisions, statutes, codes and case law

Prepare and draft legal documents (briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, applications, legal forms, correspondence, declarations, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal memoranda)

Trial preparation (witness lists, exhibits, pre-trial motions, trial binders, witness interviews)

Strong written and verbal communication skills; collaborative team player with a strong work ethic

Qualifications

Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited law school; Undergraduate degree

License to practice law; good standing with the California State Bar

1+ year litigation experience

Firm Practice Areas: Litigation, Civil & Business, Corporate, Real Estate, Entertainment, Intellectual Property, Employment, Criminal Defense, Civil Rights, Construction.
