Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Cerner proficiency across a multi-campus health system.
Details
Float Pool position covering multiple Med/Surg units across multiple campuses in the Wichita market
Shift assignment determined by highest-need unit and campus — candidates call in prior to each scheduled shift to receive their assignment
Night shift: 19:00–07:30
Every other weekend required
Cerner EMR used
Requirements
Active RN license — Kansas (KS) or Compact license required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and maintain a US home address
Driver's License required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
MOAB De-Escalation Training (Moderate Risk level) required
Local candidates are accepted, but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
COVID vaccination is not required
