Automotive Service Manager

• Lead the service department through direct involvement, consistent communication, and follow-up

Train and coach service advisors and technicians on the behaviors and standards expected of them

Hold team members accountable for performance, productivity, customer service, and execution

Manage workflow to keep technicians productive and customers informed

Monitor sales, gross profit, expenses, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Address performance issues directly and follow through until expectations are met

Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward effective resolutions

Work closely with dealership leadership to execute department priorities and achieve performance goals

Automotive dealership service management experience preferred

Strong understanding of dealership service operations

Comfortable managing technicians, advisors, workflow, and department performance

Ability to use performance numbers to identify problems and drive action
