Are you an ambitious accounting professional looking for the opportunity to build something, not just maintain it? An established and growing organization is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead and develop its finance and accounting function during an exciting period of expansion.

This is a highly visible role that offers direct interaction with executive leadership and the opportunity to help shape financial strategy, improve processes, and build the infrastructure needed to support long-term growth. Lead all accounting and financial operations
Prepare financial statements, reporting packages, and management reports
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking relationships, and cash management
Develop budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and long-range financial plans
Build financial models and provide analysis to support key business decisions
Responsibilities - Process Improvement & Growth Initiatives

Evaluate and improve accounting workflows and procedures
Strengthen internal controls and financial governance
Improve visibility into organizational performance

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to leadership and non-financial stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and improving processes
• Industry experience in project-based, construction, real estate, or related environments is a plus

Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A experience
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience with accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to leadership and non-financial stakeholders
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and improving processes

Industry experience in project-based, construction, real estate, or related environments

Broad exposure across accounting, finance, operations, and strategy
