Description Are you interested in joining the only national marine surface preparation painting contractor servicing every U.Job Title: Outside Machinist Reports To: Structural Superintendent Summary Remove, repair, overhaul, install, and align main propulsion machinery and associated equipment/components. Also, remove, repair, overhaul, install, and align equipment associated with auxiliary systems such as condensers, compressors, pumps, and other machinery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install and repair foundations for operating machinery and ship structures.

Install ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, etc., Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

Follow all safety and quality standards.

Education and Experience High school diploma or GED.

Working Conditions Work within shipyard environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, weather, and machinery.

Some travel required.

Equipment Used Hand tools, power tools.
