Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Transplant/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, working night shifts with telemetry monitoring skills required.
Details
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
Transplant unit patient population
Patient ratio of approximately 1:5
Performs IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Uses Epic for documentation
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–7:30)
Primarily weekday schedule with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership (Charge RN acceptable as 2nd reference); no coworker references accepted

Additional Information
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Former employees of this facility are eligible to apply after a minimum 6-month separation
Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or less per contract
Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after contract signing — candidates outside Ohio should be prepared to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as quickly as possible upon receipt
Parking options are available for agency staff on-site and at nearby lots with shuttle service
