Initial responsibilities will be heavily focused on title and survey work, with increasing transactional responsibility as you grow into the role.

Title review, title curative, and drafting title opinions for land and lease acquisitions

Survey review and coordination with landmen, title companies, and outside counsel

Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, easements, rights of way, and surface use agreements

1 to 4 years of real estate transactions experience, with a preference for candidates from O&G-focused law firms or in-house energy legal teams

Hands-on experience with title review, title curative, and survey analysis

Familiarity with Texas real property law; Strong drafting skills and attention to detail

Houston-based (or seeking to relocate to Houston) and committed to the market long-term
