Head of Risk Management

RAM Partners, LLC, is a full-service real estate management company that manages more than 80,000 apartments throughout the United States. We specialize in multi-family community management for a variety of third-party owners. We are a service-oriented, hands-on company. We are looking for a leader in Risk Management with a proven record in developing and leading Risk Management programs.

Lead the company's enterprise risk management program across a multi-family housing portfolio.

Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational, financial, legal, safety, and compliance risks.

Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and address organizational risks.

Oversee insurance programs, claims management, and litigation support to minimize financial exposure.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies.

Lead risk assessments related to resident safety, property operations, vendor management, cybersecurity, and business continuity.

Analyze claims, incidents, and operational trends to identify risks and implement corrective actions.

Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and risk management programs that support safe and compliant operations.

Collaborate with regional and onsite teams to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and risk awareness.

Oversee incident response, crisis management, and loss prevention initiatives across the portfolio.

Develop and deliver risk management and compliance training programs for corporate and onsite associates.

Monitor key risk metrics and provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive leadership.

Lead and develop a team of risk management professionals, ensuring consistent execution of risk programs across all communities.

Support acquisitions, new developments, and major capital projects through risk assessments and due diligence reviews.

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Safety Management, Insurance, Property Management, or a related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience in risk management, claims administration, insurance, safety, compliance, property management, or a related field.

Experience in multifamily housing, real estate, hospitality, insurance, or a highly regulated operational environment preferred.

Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, OSHA standards, insurance claims processes, and risk management principles preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and reporting tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, conduct site visits, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.
